Sandvik to sponsor BSSA conference

Sandvik is to sponsor the British Stainless Steel Association 2008 Conference, which this year is being held at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, near Warwick.
The Conference takes place 19-20 June and this year’s theme is ‘Stainless Steel – Building the Future’.  It will explore the challenges and opportunities for stainless steel in Europe and particularly the UK, highlighting the many new market opportunities.
“This is the first time we have sponsored the event, but as a manufacturer, stockist and distributor of stainless steel, we feel we have a key role to play in promoting and developing the use of this product across a wide range of applications,” says Peter Rose, Managing Director of Sandvik Materials Technology in the UK.
