The new premises are currently being built in north county Dublin on a green field site of more than 3 acres. The total covered area will be 55,000 square feet offering Irish industry the largest and most complete stock range of stainless steel products under one roof.
Keith Reynolds, managing director said,
'Our investment will put us in the position to increase our already vast stock range, speed up logistics and offer our customers an overall better service. We have already invested two other fully operational stockholding service centres. These include Reynolds Metal Centre in Lisburn, Northern Ireland which has now been operating for over 6 years and last year we opened a Leslie Reynolds & Co branch in Little Island, Co Cork. What really makes us stand out compared to our competitors is our stock range. We work in partnership with some of the largest producers of stainless steel products in the world and therefore by holding such large stocks are able to offer to our customer base both large and small quantities at very competitive prices.'
Further expansion into other markets outside Ireland are already being planned for 2009 onwards.
the company plans to be in the new facility by June 2008.
