Centro Inox organises drinking water conference
publication date: Feb 28, 2008
The Centro Inox of Milan, in collaboration with IMOA (International Molybdenum Association) of Brussels and Nickel Institute – European offices of Brussels – is organising a meeting within the ambit of H2O, the international exhibition of technologies for the treatment and distribution of drinking water and waste water treatment. The meeting will illustrate the salient properties of stainless steels and their most important applications recently developed in the sector of desalination.
The possibility to use an alternative water supply system made the sector of desalination extremely relevant in the world of water treatment. The plants employed in those processes are subject to demanding conditions; this is why the use of corrosion resistant materials which are able to withstand extremely aggressive condition is necessary.
The seminar will focus on stainless steels used in the desalination sector: after an overview on the properties of these alloys, some companies, which are directly involved, will explain their experience on this subject.
The meeting is open free of charge until the end of availability. The official language will be Italian.
