CRU's 14th World Stainless Steel conference is taking place in Brussels from the 6-7 February 2012.
Overcapacity, raw materials volatility and consolidation of the industry are, and have been for some time the most important issues. Additionally, the industry has to focus its increasing its profitability and developing new growth markets. The versatility of stainless steel is its unique advantage, with it’s ability to supply emerging markets where it is serving the high volume mass consumer markets, to the developed markets where stainless steel demand is changing to heavy industrial usage.
This evolution of stainless steel usage will be the underlying theme of the conference – which will be further explored in our end user session as well as the broad regional market outlooks.
The conference attracts a broad range of the stainless steel industry participants from producers to end users from over 33 countries. It is a truly international event.
