One of the world’s leading providers of engineered metals, Hillfoot Multimetals, has strengthened its position on the world stage with the appointment of two senior staff positions.
With a history spanning 100 years, the Sheffield-based company has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Diane Hilton and Paul Boardman.
Diane Hilton is the company’s new sales development manager for the Oil & Gas Division, and has over fifteen years extensive sales experience working across different industry sectors, including more recently, the oil and gas sector. Diane’s main responsibilities will include continuing to build strong relationships with the company’s customers and provide support and training to its sales team.
Speaking on her appointment, Diane said: “Hillfoot Multimetals’ position within the market place is strong and the company’s name is known for quality products and services”.
“My knowledge of the marketplace and my appreciation for its needs mixed with Hillfoot Multimetals’ product offering and stock availability, means we can really support all of our customers’ requirements perfectly.”
When not working Diane likes to relax through yoga and meditation. Diane also enjoys shopping and spending time with her family – although not necessarily in that order!
Paul Boardman is Hillfoot Multimetals’ new sales manager and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. He has spent the last 16 years working for a large steel distributor in Australia in varying roles across the sales function. His last role was spent working as a national sales manager building relationships with large corporate mining companies
Said Paul: “Hillfoot Multimetals is a strategically focused company and has a complete focus on delivering quality products at competitive prices, which coupled with my experience in the steel industry will ensure the company’s position within the marketplace will become even stronger. I’m looking forward to the challenges a head and working with such a dynamic team.”
In his spare time Paul likes to play golf and watch Premier League football. Paul also enjoys supporting his 11 year-old son’s sporting activities, which include football and cricket.
Both Diane and Paul said they were drawn to Hillfoot Multimetals because of the company’s excellent employment reputation, which has been built on staff development and training programmes. Diane added: “The name Hillfoot Multimetals is synonymous with steel in Sheffield and it has established a strong relationship with key market sectors. The company’s vision and commitment to its staff is what makes working for Hillfoot Multimetals a very exciting opportunity.”
“The company’s strategic approach and planning will help it continue building and protecting a strong market share - I’m excited to be part of that way of thinking, which offers both its customers and its staff with a confident outlook.” Committed Paul.
Both Diane and Paul have both settled into their new roles and are looking forward to the future challenges.
