Apprentice completes course
Kirsty Wilkinson, who joined Professional Polishing Services Ltd in July 2011 has completed her Apprenticeship in Business Administration with Sandwell College and has now been promoted to Junior Sales Administrator.
Kirsty is known as 'Kay' at PPS. As the managing director, Kirsty Davies-Chinnock explains; "As soon as I met her I knew she would fit perfectly into the team and her enthusiasm was a huge part of that. Luckily she didn't object to changing her name to Kay as it would be difficult in a small team for us both to have the same name. I am incredibly proud of her hard work over the last six months both for PPS directly and in completing the Apprenticeship in record time!" Professional Polishing Services has always supported the Apprenticeship scheme and are currently advertising for a factory based apprentice in either engineering or warehousing. All apprentices are an integral part of the team with a guaranteed job offer at the end of their course. To complement their apprenticeships PPS have also arranged for three paid internships over the summer which have been quickly snapped up. Following on from this they will be recruiting an additional Apprentice Sales Administrator later in the summer. |
