Siemens Metals Technologies (Special Products Unit), based in Christchurch, has been announced as the winner of the Queen’s Award for its outstanding achievement in growing overseas earnings, showing good year on year growth, with an overall growth of 73 per cent since 2008 recorded.
 
This is the second Queen’s Award win for Siemens Metals Technologies. The Special Products Unit has shown that the commercial success enjoyed is a result of their export activities and also having supported this expansion with comprehensive support services.
